Ground Force Decking

The Balcony	Our designer was called in to advise and assist Mr C. as to how to make his garden more accessible from his home. The property had two patio doors on the first floor that, although they had wonderful views over the surrounding countryside, actually served no purpose. Mr C did not want the view impeded in any way, but wanted to create a relaxing area which also had access to his garden
After listening to Mr C's ideas on how he wanted to use his deck, our designer returned with a design drawn to scale. The design showed a large raised balcony with access from both the lounge and kitchen patio doors and a stairway leading down to the garden. The designer also suggested that as the view was so highly prized by our client that instead of balustrade being used that toughened safety glass would be the ideal solution. The balcony also went above an existing garage on the ground level, so when the deck was installed it would also create a carport.
	The end result was a large outdoor room for Mr C and his family and friends to relax on whilst enjoying spectacular views. The stairway gives safe access to the garden from the kitchen and lounge. A lower deck was also added at the rear of the property at Mr C's request as he was so impressed with the result.
